Teaching Interests

Dr. Pasupuleit鈥檚 teaching interests include various topics in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology, such as formulation and drug delivery systems, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics etc.

Scholarly Interests

Dr. Dedeepya Pasupuleti鈥檚 research focuses on nanotechnology, immunopharmaceutical science, breast cancer studies and analytical chemistry. Her research includes development of polymeric microparticulate and nanosphere-based vaccine delivery and targeted drug delivery systems. These are tailored for non-invasive administration routes, including microneedles, buccal films, and 3D-printed oral dissolving films. Her studies involve evaluation of vaccine efficiency via in vitro assays for antigen presentation and T-cell activation, as well as in vivo evaluation of humoral and cellular immune responses in mice. She also explores brain-targeted drug delivery using nanoparticle-encapsulated therapeutics for small molecule drugs. She also works on trace analysis with instrumentation such as liquid chromatography鈥搕andem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS), differential mobility spectrometry (DMS), and gas chromatography, development of advanced ion filtering techniques and stabilization of compensation voltages to improve resolution and reproducibility in ambient pressure ion mobility systems. In addition, as a member of Rho Chi, she actively contributes to mentorship and teaching while exploring innovative pedagogical strategies in pharmacy education. Her work reflects a broad commitment to precision medicine, advanced analytical instrumentation, and translational science education.
